A pre-engineered steel production facility at Halol, Gujarat, is the newest Kirby plant opened by Kirby Building Systems India (a division of Alghanim Industries, Kuwait). The newest addition is Kirby Building Systems’ eighth facility worldwide and third in India. Kutayba Y. Alghanim, executive chairman of Alghanim Industries, celebrated the groundbreaking of the brand-new cutting-edge facility. The new Gujarat factory adds to the current 200,000 metric tonnes capacity of the Hyderabad and Haridwar facilities with an initial yearly production capacity of 50,000 metric tonnes that is scalable to 100,000 metric tonnes. The Kirby plant in Gujarat, which spans 114,000 square metres, will also house hundreds of new employment that are generated both directly and indirectly for the local economy.
