P Rajeev, Minister for Industry, , the Kerala government has planned to establish a graphene industrial park in the state.
Rajeev said that the state government is planning to establish a graphene industrial park to take advantage of the opportunities presented by
the nanomaterial as new vistas in a variety of industries are opening up. He was speaking at an investor meeting hosted by the Kerala State
Industrial Development Corporation.
A graphene policy for the State, its applications, commercial potential, research and development, and difficulties were the main topics of
discussion during the meeting.
The India Innovation Centre for Graphene (IICG) will grow into a knowledge hub that conducts studies on the cutting-edge technology.
