Karnataka govt inks MoUs worth Rs 32,000 crore

In the presence of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, the Karnataka Government inked MoUs with Continental Automotive Components (India) and Malaysia-based Petronas Hydrogen for a combined investment of Rs 32,000 crore.

Adlan Ahmaad, the CEO of Petronas Hydrogen, and Prashant Doreswamy, the CEO of Continental Automotive, both signed the Memoranda of Understanding on behalf of the department of Commerce and Industries.

The Chief Minister promised full cooperation to the two enterprises and urged them to complete the projects on schedule.

Petronas has committed to invest Rs 31,200 crore to set up a renewable energy plant in Mangaluru. It will add about 3000 jobs.
