The Karnataka government has approved 48 industrial projects totaling Rs 2,062 crore in investment. Over 6,393 persons in the state will be employed as a result of these initiatives.
The projects were approved at a meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) led by Murugesh Nirani, Minister of Large and Medium Scale Industries.
The panel has authorised seven major and medium-sized industrial projects totaling Rs 1,275.67 crore, with 3,181 people scheduled to be employed.
At the SLSWCC meeting, 40 new projects were approved, each with an investment of above Rs 15 crore but less than Rs 50 crore. These initiatives, worth a total of Rs 724.87 crore, would create 3,212 jobs.
