The Karnataka State Cabinet approved the Rs 185.57 crore detailed project report (DPR) for the Raichur greenfield domestic airport. The DPR was put together by Rights India Ltd.
The Cabinet has voted to commute the sentences of 114 inmates serving life terms in various state institutions, according to the media. They were given a reduced sentence due to their excellent behaviour.
The Cabinet also authorised a Rs 51.20 crore budget for the creation of the Centre of Excellence in Smart Agriculture on the University of Agriculture Sciences-Dharwad campus.
It also authorised a revised estimate of Rs 99.93 crore for the Ramanagara district hospital’s development.
