Karnataka approves 78 industrial projects of Rs 5,298-crore investment

A total of 78 investment applications worth Rs 5,298.69 crore that promised 13,917 jobs have been approved by the State Industries and Commerce Department.

At the State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) meeting led by the Minister for Large and Medium Size Industries Murugesh R Nirani, these proposals were cleared, a statement issued by the office of the Minister said.

17 significant large and medium-sized industrial projects worth more than Rs 50 crore were reviewed and authorised by the committee. 6,933 persons in the State are anticipated to get employment thanks to these initiatives, which are worth Rs 3,552.66 crore.

59 new projects were also approved with investments totaling more than Rs 15 crore but less than Rs 50 crore.

These projects worth Rs 1,542.88 crore would generate jobs for 6,984 people in Karnataka, the statement read.
