At its production site in Gajraula, Uttar Pradesh, Jubilant Ingrevia Limited has announced the commissioning of its new Green Ethanol-based food-grade Acetic Acid unit.
The factory is built to fulfil the highest product certification requirements, including FSSAI, ISO 22000, Kosher, Halal, FCC Codex, and others. It will meet the growing need for food preservatives all around the world.
The food-grade Acetic Acid facility, which began operations on April 28, 2022, has a capacity of 25,000 tonnes per year.
Green Ethanol, which is made from natural bio-based feedstock, will be used to make the product. Acetic acid for food is in high demand all over the world.
In comparison to Acetic Acid generated using the petroleum approach, it will give a healthier solution for food preservation needs.
