Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has awarded JSW Neo Energy Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited (the “Company”), a Letter of Award (LoA) for a total wind capacity of 300 MW in response to SECI’s invitation for competitive bids on tariffs for the establishment of 1200 MW ISTS-connected wind power projects (Tranche – XII). The company’s overall power generating portfolio then grows to 7.3 GW, including a 57 percent share of renewable energy.
The firm is actively building wind energy projects totaling about 2.0 GW. Of which 1.26 GW of projects (connected to SECI) are anticipated to begin phased commissioning in the current quarter.
