JSW Energy announced that Solar Energy Corporation of India has selected its subsidiary JSW Neo Energy for a 300 MW wind energy project (SECI).
The letter of award (LoA) for a total wind capacity of 300 MW has been obtained by JSW Neo Energy Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, according to a statement from JSW Energy.
According to the business, it won the project in a tariff-based competitive bids process that SECI had requested for the establishment of 1,200 MW of ISTS-connected wind generation plants (Tranche – XII).
The company’s overall power generating portfolio then grows to 7.3 GW, with a percentage of renewable energy equal to 57%, it was reported.
