JMC Projects was awarded the Rs. 514.61 crore Package KNPCC07 contract for Kanpur Metro Phase 1’s Transport Nagar Ramp – Naubasta Station.
The 2nd elevated part of the line is this 5.427 km portion on the eastern end of the 23.785 km Line-1 (IIT Kanpur – Naubasta). Baradevi, Kidwai Nagar, Vasant Vihar, Baudh Nagar, and Naubasta are the five stations.
In August 2021, the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) requested bidders for its construction contract, which had a budget of Rs. 526 crore and a 30-month completion date.
JMC Projects emerged as the lowest bidder in early May after technical bids were launched in December 2021, revealing 11 bidders – see all financial offer values.
