Jindal Mobilitric Private Limited (JM), a division of Jindal Worldwide Limited, said that a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for electric 2-wheelers with an annual production capacity of 2.5 lakh vehicles would be established in Ahmedabad.
JM is also establishing an internal, fully automated battery manufacturing facility with a comparable output capacity. The goal of establishing an internal battery plant is to guarantee the greatest degree of battery safety, which will increase consumer confidence in EV products and hasten the adoption of EV in India.
With Global Vision, the group aims to make a global footprint and expand its EV wings. Similar to this, JM launches its first overseas Exclusive Experience Center in Kathmandu as part of its entry into the Nepali market.
