Japan’s Air Water to construct a new facility in India

To address the growing demand from industries like the auto production, Japan’s Air Water plans to construct an industrial liquefied gas manufacturing facility in southern India.

Oxygen and other gases will be liquefied at the facility and filled into cylinders for transport.

After purchasing two facilities in 2019 along with the Indian operations of competitors Linde and Praxair, the plant will be the first one built by Air Water in the nation and the third one it operates there. The new operation will concentrate on lower-volume orders serving firms in the Chennai area, while the existing facilities will continue to serve certain large buyers in industries like steel.
