Japanese firm Taikisha to invest Rs 126 crore in Hyderabad

With an investment of Rs 126.2 crore, Nicomac Taikisha Cleanrooms will build its third production facility in Hyderabad. The announcement was made with IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao in attendance.

Engineering firm Taikisha, with 110 years of experience, has bought Nicomac Cleanrooms.

For the manufacture of lithium-ion batteries, electrical gadgets, the food sector, and hydroponic farming, Taikisha is a pioneer in putting up cleanrooms and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems. In sterile industries, it produces and builds cleanroom facilities for pharmaceuticals and vaccines.

Cleanrooms from the company are used by significant pharmaceutical companies in India and internationally. Two production facilities are now being run by the company in Hyderabad’s IDA Bollaram.
