Jakson Group bags 121 MW solar project from Amplus Solar

Jakson Group announced that it had contracted with Amplus Solar to build a 121 MW solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The corporation stated that the green capacity will be built using an engineering, procurement,

and construction (EPC) model without providing project financial information.

Industry estimates state that an investment of about Rs 4.5 crore is needed to instal every 1 MW

of solar energy.

Jakson Group said in a statement that its parent company “Amplus Solar has awarded a solar

EPC contract to Jakson Green. After starting the project, Jakson Green would complete it in

Bikaner in 8.5 months.”

The project is anticipated to offset more than 3.1 million tonnes of CO2 annually once it is

finished, which is the same as removing 5,58,100 fuel-engine cars from the road.
