iVOOMi Energy to invest Rs 200 crore to setup two-wheeler manufacturing plant

iVOOMi Energy, a major player in electric mobility, announced that it will invest Rs 200 crore to expand research and development and establish a new manufacturing facility in Pune.

According to a statement from the firm, the new production facility will be a fully integrated electric two-wheeler factory that will start operating in March 2023.

It will raise the company’s yearly manufacturing capacity from 1.8 lakh units to 2.4 lakh units, an increase of more than 60,000 units per year.

By the conclusion of FY23, iVOOMi Energy plans to deploy more than 2,00000 units.

According to the corporation, the new operation would create work for more than 2,000 employees and hire locals as well.
