With an investment of Rs 750 crore, Inox Air Products, the country’s largest maker of industrial and medical gases, has unveiled its largest greenfield project at Steel Authority of India Ltd’s (Sail) Bokaro facility.
This is the company’s second cryogenic air separation unit, and the greatest investment in a new oxygen plant, at the Bokaro factory in Jharkhand.
Inox Air stated in a statement that the new facility will produce 2,150 tonnes per day (TPD) of industrial gases, including 2,000 TPD of gaseous oxygen, 150 TPD of liquid oxygen, 1,200 TPD of gaseous nitrogen, and 100 TPD of argon.
