Inox Air inks MoU with TP Saurya Bandita to set up 40 MW captive solar plant

In order to build a 40 MW captive solar facility at Dhule in Maharashtra, INOX Air Products announced that it has signed a contract with TP Saurya Bandita Ltd.

A special-purpose vehicle owned by Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. is called TP Saurya Bandita (TPREL).

“The power plant having a capacity of 40MWp, would cater to the energy needs of the air separation units run by INOXAP in Maharashtra,” INOX Air Products (INOXAP) stated in a statement.

Once operational, the facility will assist INOXAP in yearly carbon emissions reductions of 48,000 tonnes. According to INOXP, this project is in keeping with its long-term objective to lessen reliance on fossil fuels, reduce carbon emissions, and produce green industrial and medical gases.
