IndiGrid has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from REC Electricity Development and Consultancy Ltd (REC) to develop a transmission system for power evacuation from renewable energy projects in Maharashtra’s Osmanabad district, according to a statement.
The project will be built, owned, operated, and maintained (BOOM) for 35 years through tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB), according to the announcement.
The project, which is expected to cost Rs 170 crore, will include a two-phase, 500 MVA, 400/220 kV substation near Kallam, as well as ten bays and an 18-kilometer LILO multi-circuit line.
