At Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport, IndiGo, the country’s largest passenger airline, opened its second maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility.
On five acres of land, a 13,000 square metre structure is constructed.
It is the airport’s second-largest maintenance facility.
The facility, which was opened by the low-cost airline’s engineering chief, S.C. Gupta, was the subject of a 20-year agreement between the low-cost carrier and Bengaluru International Airport Ltd.
