Pinnacle Mobility plans to produce India’s first e-bus in Pune with an extraordinary investment of Rs 776 crore, representing a significant advancement in the country’s sustainable transportation system.
The state cabinet of Maharashtra has approved this project, giving the company’s ambitious endeavour a critical thumbs-up.
Alongside this venture, Pinnacle Mobility also announced the upcoming launch of its EKA brand electric buses (e-buses) in the next two to three months. This forms part of the company’s broader strategy to invest Rs 2,000 crore over the next five years to develop a robust portfolio of electric vehicles (EVs) that caters to the last-mile mobility segment.
