Praj Industries Ltd. and Indian Oil Corp. Ltd. have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to explore ways to accelerate India’s transition to cleaner and greener energy sources, including the production of alcohol-to-jet (ATJ) fuels, 1G and 2G ethanol, compressed biogas (CBG), and other biofuels-related opportunities.
It will be critical for India to explore these green energy possibilities if it is to attain carbon neutrality by 2070.
