Hydrofluoroolefin Manufacturing Plant Inaugurated in Dahej

An inauguration ceremony was held at a factory in Dahej, Gujarat, which has started Honeywell’s Solstice zd in India.

The project is a collaboration between Honeywell and Navin Fluorine, a member of the Padmanabh Mafatlal Group.

In addition to Vishad Mafatlal, Executive Chairman of Navin Fluorine, Radhesh Welling, Managing Director of Navin Fluorine, and Ken West, President of Honeywell Advanced Materials, the factory was virtually launched by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel.

Solstice zd is a hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) that may be used for a variety of things, such as chiller liquid and blowing agents for foam insulation.

“An increasing number of countries including India have pledged to adopt environmental regulations that will help make the future safer and more sustainable. As demonstrated through our collaboration with Navin Fluorine, Honeywell is committed to helping these countries in their environmental transformations by providing energy efficient, low-GWP, ready-now solutions that lower greenhouse gas emissions,” informs Ken West, President of Honeywell Advanced Materials.
