Hitachi Energy India Ltd. opened a transformer component manufacturing plant in Vadodara, Gujarat. This facility, which is located in Indio, will manufacture dry bushings using the most dependable technique known as “Resin Impregnated Paper.”
This will be India’s first manufacturing plant for resin-impregnated paper bushings with a voltage rating of 400kV. This dry method increases the thermal, electrical, and mechanical performance of transformer bushings, making them more durable and dependable, which is important in power grid transformers.
India’s electricity grid, which is one of the world’s largest operating synchronous networks, must be strengthened if the country is to incorporate a bigger percentage of renewables and achieve its carbon-neutral goals.
