For the purpose of constructing a semiconductor park, the Hiranandani Group has asked the Yamuna Expressway Authority for 100 acres of land. The demands of the corporation are being examined, according to YEIDA officials.
The CEO of the Hiranandani Group, Darshap Hiranandani, stated the company’s willingness to establish an ATMP unit for semiconductor assembly testing marking and packaging (SEP) in the YEIDA region in a letter to the Yamuna Expressway Authority.
“We are in the process of filing the application with the government of India under the Indian Semiconductor Mission (ISM). Our group is already successfully operating in the state of UP through our data centre division called Yotta Data Services Pvt Ltd,” the CEO said in his letter.
“We are now keen to expand our footprint by piloting our semiconductor division project in UP as well. We have incorporated Tarq Semiconductors Pvt Ltd in order to forward our semiconductor vertical,” he added.
