Himachal government signs MoU with NHLML for seven ropeway projects

The Himachal Pradesh government and the state-ownedNational Highways Logistics Management Limited (NHLML) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for seven ropeway projects in the state under the Parvatmala Yojna, totaling Rs. 3,232 crore. The project will stretch for 57.1 kilometres.

Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways, and Jai Ram Thakur, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, were both in attendance.
The ministers also spoke through the state’s current development projects.

Parvatmala is a National Ropeways Development Program that aims to provide a contemporary system of mountain mobility and communication.
