Hero Electric would invest Rs 1,200 crore in a brand-new building. Hero Electric would invest Rs 1,200 crore to build a new manufacturing facility in Rajasthan. The complex will cover 170 acres and be located in the Salarpur industrial area.
Two million units will be able to be produced annually by the unit. Additionally, a vendor company that will contribute an extra Rs 400 crore to the facility would be accommodated.
The project is expected to start operating by the middle of 2023 after the firm and the Rajasthani government inked a contract for it in September 2022.
The strategic location of the plant being within 100 km of Delhi airport and close to automotive clusters in the National Capital Region will ensure smooth connectivity and efficient logistics.
