A brand-new manufacturing facility for Hero Electric will be built in Rajasthan’s Salarpur industrial district. Two million units may be produced annually at the Rs 1,200 crorecomplex, which will span 170 acres. The largest manufacturer of electric two-wheelers in India is Hero Electric.
According to the company’s MD Naveen Munjal, the factory was deliberately built to be within 100 kilometers of the Delhi Airport and close to the National Capital Region’s (NCR) automotive clusters.
The company has already obtained the required permits from the Rajasthan government, according to the article, and the unit is anticipated to begin production in 2023. It plans to reach a five million unit annual production capacity by 2025.
