Gujarat will have seven new industrial parks covering 1911 hectares of land, according to Minister of State for Industries Jagdish Panchal. In addition, the government intends to give incentives to encourage the growth of companies and research and development.
Ode- Anand, Khandivav- Balasinor, Morbi, Madhiya-Bhavnagar, Dahej-SEZ, Bharuch, bulk drug park in Jambusar, and Dhrol- Jamnagar are among the seven new GIDC estates planned. There are currently 224 estates scattered across 40,000 acres in the state.
A total of five new agro parks and seafood parks will be built. The industries department has been allocated a budget of Rs 5,99,724 lakh, according to Parmar. The government intends to develop small-scale companies and provide assistance to approximately 1.29 lakh people through its various programmes.
