Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited has provided Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (formerly Titagarh Waggons Limited) with a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) dated June 27, 2023 regarding the “Design, Manufacture, Supply, Testing, Commissioning and Training of 72 nos. of Standard Gauge Cars for Surat Metro Rail Phase-I Project I.”
The estimated order value is INR 857 crore, and after the contract is signed, execution will begin. It will then take 132 weeks to complete.
