GSP Crop Science Pvt Ltd., an agrochemical company, proposes to invest around 500 crore in expanding its technical and intermediates production capacity in Saykha, Gujarat, over the next five years, reducing its reliance on China.
According to Bhavesh Shah, Managing Director of GSP Crop Science, capacity utilisation at the business’s Gujarat production sites has reached 80%, leading the company to pursue growth ambitions.
The anticipated expansion will lower the company’s reliance on China for technicals from 80 percent to roughly 30-40 percent.
The firm has formulation and technical production facilities in Gujarat’s Nandesari and Saykha, as well as Jammu.
