The Gujarat State Electricity Corporation (GSECL) has issued a request for proposals for the building of a gas-insulated substation for the South Block of the 3,325 MW Renewable Energy Park at Khavda in Gujarat’s Kachchh district.
On a turnkey basis, the scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 33/440 kV gas insulated substation, three winding 33-33/400 KV power transformers, and a 400 kV transmission line, as well as all civil works and a ten-year operation and maintenance period.
The project is anticipated to cost Rs 325.67 crore and would take 14 months to complete.
