The operational guidelines for the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for textiles have been released by the central government. Companies can begin the registration process on the government’s web site from January 1-31, 2022.
The application session for choosing new applicants will be reopened if there are insufficient numbers of eligible applicants.
According to the guidelines, enterprises must inform the ministry of textiles about their annual investment plan, planned sales, turnover, expected employment generation, and exports during the scheme’s lifetime in their application.
