The Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) is developing four greenfield industrial cities or nodes in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, and key trunk infrastructural works have been completed there, according to the ministry of commerce and industry.
It said in a statement that 138 plots (754 acres) had been awarded to enterprises with a total investment of more than Rs 16,750 crore in these towns.
Companies like HYOSUNG (South Korea), NLMK (Russia), HAIER (China), TATA Chemicals, and AMUL are anchor investors in these cities/nodes.
