Godrej Process Equipment, a manufacturer of specially designed process equipment, recently delivered its heaviest piece of machinery, a xylene column, from its cutting-edge facility in Dahej, Gujarat, according to Godrej & Boyce, the Godrej Group’s flagship firm. The 1,000 metric tonne machinery was produced for Tecnimont for the integrated paraxylene-purified terephthalic acid (PX-PTA) project at the Paradip refinery in Odisha. The feedstock will be processed by the xylene column to create liquids and vapours. The plant would be a ready source of feedstock for a 300-KTA textile yarn manufacturing project, and the column will be a key component in the procedure.
