Godrej & Boyce, the Godrej Group’s flagship company, announced that Godrej Process Equipment, a leader in custom-built process equipment, has delivered its heaviest equipment – Xylene Column – from its state-of-the-art facility in Dahej, Gujarat.
The 1000 MT equipment was built for Tecnimont for the Indian Oil Corporation Limited‘s (IOCL) integrated paraxylene-purified terephthalic acid (PX-PTA) Project at the Paradip refinery in Odisha.
The Xylene Column will aid in the processing of the feedstock, resulting in liquids and vapours. This column will be critical to the process, and this plant will provide a ready source of feedstock for a 300-KTA textile yarn manufacturing project.
