M K Stalin, the state’s chief minister, said in the assembly that a global investors’ meet (GIM) will be held in Tamil Nadu by the end of 2023 to attract international investment and create jobs.
He predicted that it will create tens of thousands of jobs. He was delivering a spontaneous comment in accordance with Assembly Rule 110. In order to lure investments into Tamil Nadu, the government is also making attempts to engage in investment meetings in four nations beginning in May.
He stated that it will begin with officials travelling to Switzerland in 2022 for the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting. They will go to Hannover, Germany, in May, followed by a trip to the United Kingdom to participate in the Global Offshore Conference.
