A top US drone manufacturer has announced a partnership with a top Indian forging company to produce main landing gear components, subassemblies, and assemblies of remotely piloted aircraft in the nation. This move is anticipated to aid India in creating a manufacturing ecosystem for high-end drones.
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI), a General Atomics subsidiary based in San Diego, said that its collaboration with Bharat Forge Ltd would result in considerable capability-building for both businesses and provide the Indian big, unmanned aircraft industry a boost.
