Gadkari inaugurates 2 highway projects worthRs 1,082 cr in Bengal

Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, NitinGadkari, officially opened two NH projects in Raiganj, West Bengal, costing Rs 1,082 crore.

According to Gadkari, the completion of this 5 km, 4-lane bypass, constructed at a total cost of Rs 120 crore, will finally resolve the traffic issue in Dalkhola town, which has existed for 60 years and is accessible by NH-34.

In addition, the bypass and ROB projects will cut the distance between Siliguri and Kolkata by two hours. He continued, according to the announcement, “This stretch would also boost movement along border regions of Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Nepal.”
