Four-lane elevated corridor to be built at Chennai’s Anna Salai

Commutes throughout Chennai will soon be easy and convenient! Tamil Nadu’s Minister for Highways, EV Velu, said that a four-lane elevated corridor will be built on Anna Salai between Teynampet and Saidapet.

The corridor will most likely cost Rs 485 crore to build. Chennai’s traffic is projected to be relieved as a result of the corridor.

The minister stated before the state Assembly that the 3.2-kilometer route will allow vehicles to easily pass Eldams Road, SIET College, Nandanam, Cenotaph Road, and CIT Nagar.

The remark was made recently by the Tamil Nadu Minister for Highways, who was presenting his department’s funding requests.
