Four infrastructure projects under Indian Railways have been approved by an inter-ministerial panel called the Network Planning Group (NPG) as part of the PM GatiShakti effort to increase connectivity among the nation’s diverse regions.
These initiatives will improve nationwide logistics efficiency while enabling seamless flow of passengers and products across several modes of transportation.
These were accepted earlier this week during a meeting presided by by Industry Department Special Secretary SumitaDawra.
According to a statement from the industry department, “These initiatives will be developed in concert with the PM GatiShakti Principles using the integrated and holistic approach.”
One of the projects pertaining to the construction of a Broad-gauge double line between SawaiMadhopur and Jaipur in Rajasthan state was examined by the NPG
