The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority has opened technical bids of DPR consultancy work contract for Mahavir Nagar-Pagoda-Gorai Urban Ropeway project in Mumbai.
As per information shared, a total of four global consultancy firms have shown their interests to provide consultancy services for preparation of detailed project report for the proposed 7.8 kilometres Mahavir Nagar-Pagod-Gorai Urban Ropeway Project in Mumbai Metroploitan Region.
The bidders are LEA Associates South Asia, SalzmanIngenierue ZT Gmbh, AradnuyIngenieria S.A., MDP Consulting France.
To help villagers cross the creek, MMRDA is mulling a ropeway connectivity with Mahavir Nagar Metro Station on Mumbai Metro Line 2A from Pagoda in Gorai.
Presently, the villagers depend on ferry services or travel on busy routes to reach the main parts of Mumbai for their routine works.
