To broaden its product offering in the 2-Wheeler Electric Vehicles (EV) category, Fiem Industries has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gogoro India, a subsidiary of Gogoro Taiwan.
Fiem Industries will produce Hub Motor Assembly, Electric Control Units (ECU), and Motor Control Units (MCU) for Gogoro in addition to its Lighting and Rear View Mirror business.
According to the MoU, Gogoro will offer technical expertise, other support, and assistance in building up a manufacturing facility, as well as help for production, quality control, and testing for the aforementioned new product line.
In addition to offering automotive lighting, rear view mirrors, and other products, Fiem Industries is trying to expand its product line to serve the 2-Wheeler EV market.
