Exicom Group, located in Gurugram, has set aside Rs 200 crore over the next three years, among other things, to commission a new facility in Hyderabad, Telangana.
In the coming fiscal year, the business plans to triple its electric car charger production capacity.
The firm, which recently became the largest EV charger manufacturer after completing 5,000 installations in only four years, expects EV charger sales to treble to over 20,000 units in FY23.
So far, roughly 10,000 electric vehicle chargers have been built across the country.
In FY23, the corporation plans to roll out and install roughly 20,000 EV chargers for both home and public use.
