EMPE Diagnostics has announced the opening of a worldwide manufacturing plant in Hyderabad’s Genome Valley, with the goal of producing 2 million tuberculosis (TB) testing kits each month. In Hyderabad, the business will invest roughly Rs 25 crore and hire around 25 individuals.
EMPE Diagnostics is currently conducting clinical trials for TB testing kits in at least five countries. The things made in Hyderabad will be sold all over the world. The business also intends to invest roughly 50 crore in this facility, creating an additional 150 jobs. The corporation intends to invest roughly 25 million Euros in the facility over the next few years.
The announcement was made after Minister KT Rama Rao’s meeting with Dr. Pavan Asalapuram, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of EMPE Diagnostics at World Economic Forum, Davos.
Jayesh Ranjan IAS, Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce Dept. and Shakthi M Nagappan, Director Lifesciences, Government of Telangana were also present during the meeting.
