E2S Power and India Power have agreed to collaborate on converting fossil fuel power plants into renewable energy thermal storage systems in the country.
According to a release, India Power and E2S Power will collaborate with leading corporations in India’s power and renewable energy sectors to identify, analyse, and offer optimum integrated thermal energy solutions for current plants and facilities that are being phased out.
E2S Power’s thermal energy storage technology provides an opportunity to deliver much-needed energy storage while preserving employment and using much of the infrastructure in thermal power plants that are being decommissioned, according to the company.
