The newest and most technologically advanced plant for the production of liquid ink, called “Optima,” by DIC India Limited, a member of the DIC group, was opened in Saykha, Gujarat’s Bharuch district.
The plant, which occupies a sizable 92,500 sq m area, can produce over 10,000 tonnes of TF, KF/NTNK (Toluene Free/ Ketone Free) liquid inks in two shifts during phase I. The facility will be upgraded to create speciality and value-added goods for both domestic and international markets.

With this new plant, DIC India will now have an expanded footprint in India. Its other four plants are at Kolkata, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat (Ahmedabad), Karnataka.
