A five-star hotel will soon be available to guests in the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR), as the government has allocated a sizable 12,095 square metre land for that purpose. On June 8, there will be an online auction for the plot.
This would be the first site allocated to the hospitality sector in the area, which has emerged as a crucial hub for commerce and urban growth. One of the main government initiatives to draw in domestic and foreign investment is the Dholera SIR.
“Dholera is surrounded by some unique tourist places like Velavadar Black Buck National Park, Lothal, Vallabhi Ancient Buddhist University and several religious places like Palitana, Jain Tirth Temple, Sarangpur Hanuman Temple. These places receive a large number of tourists from Gujarat and India,” said a senior official of Dholera SIR.
The region will also have a canal front and sports complexes.
