Another city-based corporation is scheduled to showcase its third hyperscale data centre, and the groundbreaking ceremony for the same was performed, adding to the deluge of data centres that are being built in Hyderabad. CtrlS – Asia’s biggest rated-4 hyperscale data centre kicked begun building of its third hyperscale data centre in Gachibowli with a ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony.
The data centre will cover 131,000 square feet and include 1,600 racks that will be powered by 18MW of energy.
Because the city is in a seismic zone, it is a popular choice for disaster recovery services, and several large companies, including Flipkart, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), ICICI Bank, and Amazon, have offices or infrastructure in the city.
