CPP installs tallest FRP stack liner for BIFPCL

In order to meet its targets for the energy transition, India must tackle emissions from the thermal power industry. Flue gas desulphurization (FGD) technology is anticipated to play an important role in achieving this.

The implementation of FRP stack in the FGD plant built by BIFPCL – Bangladesh India Friendship Power Company Ltd, a joint venture of 50:50 sharing by India state-owned National Thermal Power Corp and Bangladesh Power Development Board, has been announced by Chemical Process Piping (CPP), a 60-year-old and India’s premier industrial piping solutions company that pioneered in manufacturing GRP and FRP-based pipes.

With the ongoing domestic and international projects, CPP is eyeing to reach Rs 300 crore annual turnover by 2024 which is first in the FRP sector for a pureplay FRP Piping company.
