Chhattisgarh to get infrastructure projects worth Rs 1,000 crore: CM Bhupesh Baghel

The infrastructure sector in Chhattisgarh would be strengthened by projects worth Rs 1,000 crore, according to Bhupesh Baghel, the chief minister of the state. 13,77 new construction projects in urban and rural areas were announced by CM on March 6, 2023. A light metro service between Nava Raipur and Durg was another idea put up by the CM. At a cost of Rs 579 crore, 1,081 roads will be developed. While 272 main and medium bridges are expected to cost Rs 149 crore, the construction of 24 new government rest homes is expected to cost Rs 9 crore. 50 railway overbridges’ construction, surveying, and utility are expected to cost a total of Rs 29.95 crore. The state budget allocates money for a flyover that would connect VIP Chowk and Telibandha.
